Comedian Park Mi-sun Shares Her Journey Through Chemotherapy

Comedian Park Mi-sun has opened up about her chemotherapy journey.

On the 7th, Park Mi-sun's YouTube channel 'I am Park Mi-sun' featured a video titled "[Wise Cancer Battle-2] Sending Off My Hair."

In the video, Park Mi-sun documented her decision to shave her head before starting her second round of chemotherapy, explaining, "My hair was falling out in clumps," and ultimately choosing to go bald.

Park Mi-sun shared, "Before heading for my second chemotherapy session, I decided to cut my hair completely. It's less hassle when it falls out." Sitting in the salon chair, she remarked with a calm smile, "I once said I wanted to try shaving my head, and it seems my words have come true."

After cutting her hair short, Park Mi-sun expressed surprise, saying, "I look like my grandfather. I'm starting to resemble my late father too much." She lightened the mood with her characteristic humor, joking, "I've become a handsome brother," while maintaining a bright demeanor.

However, 14 days after chemotherapy, she faced another challenging period. She explained in a weary voice, "My senses are dulling, and I can't taste anything." During her third visit to the salon for a shave, she admitted, "I couldn't endure it anymore and decided to shave it all off. My hair was falling out so much that it clogged the drain."

Park Mi-sun had paused her activities in January due to her battle with breast cancer. Recently, she shared her journey on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' updating fans on her condition.
