Actor Kim Young-dae Shares Thoughts on Co-star Shin Min-a's Marriage and Drama 'Dear X'

Actor Kim Young-dae recently opened up about his experience working with Shin Min-a, his co-star in the drama 'Dear X'.

'Dear X' is a suspenseful melodrama that tells the story of Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung), a woman who wears a mask to escape hell and rise to the top, and the Xs she cruelly trampled on. It explores the downfall of South Korea's top actress Baek Ah-jin, who hides her cruel nature behind a beautiful face, and the love of Yoon Jun-seo (played by Kim Young-dae), who chooses hell to protect her.

Kim Young-dae expressed his satisfaction with the project, stating, "We started filming a year ago and completed it, waiting for the broadcast. Hearing that the response has been positive makes me proud."

He added, "As a viewer, I also watched with anticipation. I am grateful that the drama was completed in an entertaining way, naturally blending with the character Jun-seo that I portrayed."

Kim Young-dae also commented on the recent marriage announcement of his on-screen wife, Shin Min-a, who revealed her marriage to actor Kim Woo-bin last month, garnering much attention.

He shared, "As soon as I heard the news, I texted her. I'm a fan and congratulated her warmly. She didn't read it for a day, but the next day she replied, 'Young-dae, thank you so much.'" Regarding his attendance at the wedding, he humorously noted, "She didn't mention anything about that."
