G-Dragon of BIGBANG has directly addressed the controversy surrounding his live performance at the '2025 MAMA Awards' amidst fans' appeals.

On November 29, G-Dragon took the stage at the '2025 MAMA Awards' held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium, performing a medley of his solo hits. Despite winning four awards, including the prestigious 'Artist of the Year,' his performance sparked a heated debate online regarding the quality of his live vocals.

Critics pointed out that this was the third time in a year that G-Dragon faced scrutiny over his performance skills. He had previously been criticized for pitch and breath control issues at last year's 'SBS Gayo Daejeon' and his solo concert in Goyang this March. However, his fans argued that there were audio transmission errors during the performance, citing instances where G-Dragon was seen adjusting his in-ear monitors.

Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon's agency, released behind-the-scenes footage on December 1, explaining that there were unforeseen variables during the preparation process. The agency stated, "G-Dragon was initially preparing different songs after 'Drama' and 'Heartbreaker,' but upon hearing about a local apartment fire tragedy, he decided to change the setlist to include 'Untitled.'" They also revealed that G-Dragon donated 1 million Hong Kong dollars to the Tai Po Wong Fuk Court relief fund to support the victims.

As the controversy continued, fans took action. On November 30, a fan uploaded a direct cam video, stating, "The live performance controversy is unfair. Please consider the circumstances. G-Dragon did well and we are proud of him." G-Dragon responded by liking the post with his official account, which was seen as a direct acknowledgment of the fans' support. The video also included a message encouraging G-Dragon to rest well, which he is believed to have seen.

Previously, G-Dragon had commented on the official awards account's post of his performance with a thumbs-down emoji and "...", indicating his awareness of the controversy. This difference in reactions suggests that he is sensitive to the situation.

G-Dragon is set to hold the 'G-Dragon 2025 World Tour Übermensch in Seoul Encore' from December 12 to 14 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
