In the 15th episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Typhoon Family' (directed by Lee Na-jung and Kim Dong-hwi, written by Jang Hyun), aired on the 29th, Kang Tae-poong (played by Lee Junho) rushes to Dabontek following a desperate plea from Bae Song-jung (played by Lee Sang-jin) to save his father.

His father (played by Kim Hee-chang), the president of Dabontek, is on the brink of bankruptcy due to the IMF crisis and a missing 30 million won. With salaries unpaid, employees pooled their money to help pay off debts, prompting him to consider ending it all on the rooftop. As everyone panicked, Kang Tae-poong climbed the building's wall ladder to the rooftop, confessing how much he missed his late father (played by Sung Dong-il), which touched his father's heart.

While touring the factory, Kang Tae-poong recognized the potential of a patented voice recognition sensor camera and promised a contract for 500 units with a down payment the next day to prevent Dabontek's bankruptcy. However, his relief was short-lived as Pyo Hyun-jun (played by Moo Jin-sung) arrived at Typhoon Trading with a guarantee letter signed by Tae-poong's father, Pyo Bak-ho (played by Kim Sang-ho). Unable to produce the IOU in time, Kang Tae-poong had to step down as president to protect his employees' livelihoods. Yet, he fulfilled his final duty as president by quickly signing the payment approval request for Dabontek, preventing Pyo Hyun-jun from nullifying the deal.

However, Pyo Hyun-jun's interference blocked this effort. Teaming up with a foreign company, he influenced the bank to close early, preventing the bill's repayment. Despite the remaining Typhoon Trading employees delivering the contract money to Pyo Hyun-jun and Pyo Sang-seon's slow processing, Dabontek faced bankruptcy, leaving its machinery seized and employees devastated.

Meanwhile, Kang Tae-poong sensed suspicious activity from Pyo Hyun-jun and a foreign company representative, Mark, at the bank. Believing the answer lay within Pyo Sang-seon, 'Typhoon Trading' members took action. While Song-jung distracted Pyo Sang-seon employees, Oh Mi-sun (played by Kim Min-ha) stole a key, and with the help of Gu Myung-gwan (played by Kim Song-il), they infiltrated the company.

Kang Tae-poong, Oh Mi-sun, and Go Ma-jin (played by Lee Chang-hoon) searched Pyo Sang-seon's office. Amidst rising tension, Tae-poong and Mi-sun encountered an unexpected figure in the president's office: Cha Sun-taek (played by Kim Jae-hwa), who had been working as a cleaner at Dabontek thanks to Song-jung's kindness. Having overheard 'Typhoon Trading's' plan, she infiltrated the office first, believing the crucial document was there. A scuffle ensued as security guards arrived, but Kang Tae-poong used his father's nameplate to shield Mi-sun and Sun-taek from a guard's baton. With Marine Corps veteran Ma-jin's help, they narrowly escaped Pyo Sang-seon's building.

As they caught their breath outside, the nameplate in Kang Tae-poong's hand cracked, revealing a hidden document inside. It was the IOU proving Pyo Sang-seon's debt to Typhoon Trading. With this document finally in hand, anticipation for the 'final showdown' to reclaim Typhoon Trading is at an all-time high.
