Actor Choi Chang-kyun has shared an update on his life, revealing his current job as a truck driver.

On the 26th, the 'One Mic' channel released a video titled "[On-Site Mic] 21-Year Actor Earns Money Collecting Waste with a 1-Ton Truck.. 192cm Former Hermes Model | EP.35 Choi Chang-kyun."

In the video, Choi explains, "I collect waste and drop it off at sites. If there’s a shortage of vehicles or manpower, I get called in." He added, "I clear everything except living things. Today, I’m heading to a two-story house for a job," detailing his work in waste collection.

Reflecting on his past, Choi shared memories from his modeling and acting days. "I played the role of General Kim Eung-am in the blockbuster film 'The Admiral: Roaring Currents.' I also appeared in 'Holiday' and 'Bad Guys.' There were many action scenes, and it was tough," he recalled.

During his time as a Hermes model, he reminisced, "I became the main model at a Hermes show where models from all over the country auditioned. Back then, I was inundated with calls from TV writers and fashion editors," highlighting his peak career moments.

However, behind the glamorous career, he confessed to experiencing severe anxiety. "Around 37, I was hit with extreme anxiety and depression. Even while acting, I couldn’t sleep well," he admitted. "What helped me overcome it was work. Whether clearing waste, doing model work, it’s all the same. When you have too much free time, you overthink. Anxiety is self-created. I realized I needed to love myself to be healthy," he shared.

Discussing his changed lifestyle, he added, "I used to mainly get makeup done for work, but now, beyond making a living, my self-esteem has risen. Coming home exhausted and taking a shower feels mentally refreshing."

Finally, he spoke about his evolved perspective on work, saying, "Whether modeling or any job, instead of thinking 'Is my job embarrassing?' I believe all work is the same. The most important thing is doing fulfilling work and being healthy."
