SBS Drama 'Dynamite Kiss' Sparks Love Triangle with Rising Ratings
'Dynamite Kiss' has been breaking its own viewership records, reviving the weekday romance drama phenomenon for SBS. The third episode, aired on November 19, reached a peak rating of 6.8% nationwide and 5.6% in the metropolitan area. The fourth episode, aired on November 20, achieved a peak of 7.8% nationwide and 6.5% in the metropolitan area, ranking first among all weekday mini-series across channels. Additionally, it secured the second spot on Netflix's global non-English rankings (from November 17 to November 23) and topped the charts in 13 countries.
Adding to the excitement, the drama introduces a new twist in the relationship between Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim. In the upcoming fifth episode, airing today (November 26), Kim Sun-woo (played by Kim Mu-jun), Go Da-rim's long-time friend and fake husband, enters the scene, igniting a love triangle.
The production team of 'Dynamite Kiss' stated, "The love triangle officially begins in today's episode. Kim Sun-woo's presence will bring significant changes to the emotional dynamics between Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim. Jang Ki-yong, Ahn Eun-jin, and Kim Mu-jun skillfully balance comedy and romance, adding tension to the story. The fifth episode of SBS's 'Dynamite Kiss', marking the start of the love triangle, airs tonight at 9 PM on November 26.
