The fifth episode of TV CHOSUN's Monday-Tuesday miniseries 'No Next Life,' aired on the 24th at 10 PM, achieved a personal best viewership rating of 2.9% according to Nielsen Korea.

Jo Na-jung (played by Kim Hee-sun) stepped in to host a broadcast for Song Ye-na (played by Go Won-hee), who was in shock from a bee sting, only to face harsh criticism from her colleagues, including Yang Mi-sook (played by Han Ji-hye). When Jo Na-jung discovered she was excluded from the lineup due to Song Ye-na's opposition, she confronted her, asking, "Are you repaying kindness with betrayal?" Song Ye-na retorted, "I see it as you stepping on me to climb up," leaving Jo Na-jung speechless.

Jo Na-jung confided in her close friends, Goo Joo-young (played by Han Hye-jin) and Lee Il-ri (played by Jin Seo-yeon), about Song Ye-na's bullying. While Lee Il-ri advised a direct confrontation, Goo Joo-young suggested a more diplomatic approach. Jo Na-jung ultimately decided to help Song Ye-na by arranging a photo shoot and interview with Lee Il-ri, whom Song Ye-na admired. Despite her reluctance, Lee Il-ri agreed to help her friend, and Song Ye-na begrudgingly accepted Jo Na-jung's offer, allowing her a supporting role in return.

During the interview, Song Ye-na awkwardly suggested a blind date with a middle-aged executive, prompting Lee Il-ri to remark, "You're as troublesome as they say." When Song Ye-na requested edits to hide her past weight issues, Lee Il-ri refused, leading to a heated exchange that left Jo Na-jung anxious.

Lee Il-ri later admitted to Jo Na-jung, "I never liked her. I only helped because you asked." Overhearing this, Song Ye-na accused Jo Na-jung of being a burden, questioning, "Is being a working mom a privilege?" leaving Jo Na-jung stunned.

The next day, Jo Na-jung discovered that Song Ye-na had replaced her with Yang Mi-sook for a supporting role. When confronted, Song Ye-na replied, "I told them not to air the interview. We're even now, right?" Enraged, Jo Na-jung went to Song Ye-na's house, worried after hearing from Yang Mi-sook that she couldn't reach her. She found Song Ye-na in a critical state and rushed her to the emergency room.

After Song Ye-na's intestinal obstruction surgery, Jo Na-jung expressed her concern, saying, "You almost died," and apologized for the incident with Lee Il-ri. Song Ye-na tearfully responded, "You have a husband and a child. All I have is my work," leaving Jo Na-jung bewildered.

Meanwhile, Goo Joo-young was shocked to find a mannequin head ordered by her husband, Oh Sang-min (played by Jang In-seop). She entered his figure workshop, exclaiming, "What's fun about this?" but eventually gave up. Later, she secretly visited her in-laws' basement, where she was horrified to find life-sized dolls and a faceless mannequin on a bed.

Oh Sang-min, unaware of Goo Joo-young's presence, confessed his feelings to the dolls, prompting her to storm out, grabbing his collar and demanding, "What are these for, you pervert?" She damaged one of the dolls, causing Oh Sang-min to cry out "Rebecca," revealing his secret and leaving Goo Joo-young in despair.

No Won-bin (played by Yoon Park) was summoned by Director Seo Kyung-sun (played by Kim Young-ah) regarding a post titled 'I Accuse Sweet Home Shopping's K-Director of Sexual Harassment.' Seo Kyung-sun pressured him about his relationship with Kim Sun-min (played by Seo Eun-young), mentioning Jo Na-jung. In a tense moment, Jo Na-jung, prompted by Yang Mi-sook, found No Won-bin at a café with a tearful Kim Sun-min, leading to a 'suspicious intuition ending' as she asked, "What are you doing here?"
