Ong Seong-wu Stars in KBS Drama 'First Love is a String Earphone'

After transitioning from the popular group Wanna One to acting in January 2019, Ong Seong-wu is set to appear in the drama 'First Love is a String Earphone'(첫사랑은 줄이어폰).

'First Love is a String Earphone' is part of the 2025 KBS 2TV drama project 'Love Track'(러브: 트랙). This project is a romance anthology featuring 10 different love stories, showcasing KBS's commitment to evolving with the times while maintaining its 41-year tradition of single-episode dramas.

In 'First Love is a String Earphone', Ong Seong-wu plays a high school senior who meets a rebellious male student, leading her to confront her dreams and love. Ong Seong-wu stars alongside actress Han Ji-hyeon, a graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, in a romantic storyline.

Ong Seong-wu's character, Ki Hyun-ha, is a free-spirited high school student aspiring to be a composer. After accidentally discovering the secret of Young-seo (played by Han Ji-hyeon), he sincerely supports her dreams and develops special feelings for her.

Ong Seong-wu has previously showcased his versatility in films like 'Life is Beautiful' and 'Starlight Falls'(별빛이 내린다), as well as dramas such as 'At Eighteen', 'More Than Friends', and 'Strong Girl Nam-soon'. Additionally, he made his theater debut in July with 'Shakespeare in Love'.

'First Love is a String Earphone'(첫사랑은 줄이어폰) will air on December 14th at 10:50 PM.
