Rising Star Kim Do-hoon Shines in 'Dear X' and Captivates with Stunning Photoshoot

Actor Kim Do-hoon, currently starring in the TVING original series 'Dear X', has unveiled a captivating photoshoot.

On the 21st, his agency PEAK J ENTERTAINMENT released behind-the-scenes cuts of Kim Do-hoon, who plays the role of Kim Jae-oh in 'Dear X'.

In the released photos, Kim Do-hoon flawlessly embodies various styles, showcasing a different vibe in each shot. He naturally absorbs intense colors into his unique tone, and his rhythmic movements and delicate facial expressions stably express diverse concepts. In shots utilizing props, his sense of detail enhances the overall completeness, and he interprets a wide range of looks from modern classic to casual moods, completing a sophisticated atmosphere.

Despite not having extensive photoshoot experience, Kim Do-hoon led the shoot with boldness and confidence, impressing the staff on set. His professional demeanor, seamlessly transitioning through various poses without losing focus, brought energy to the set.

In 'Dear X', Kim Do-hoon plays Kim Jae-oh, a character oscillating between innocence and charisma, capturing the attention of viewers both domestically and internationally. He supports Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung) as she dons a mask to escape a hellish reality, executing her plans as an ally, and is praised for his detailed portrayal of the character's emotional arc.

'Dear X' has ranked first for two consecutive weeks in TVING's weekend paid subscriber contributions. According to global OTT ranking site FlixPatrol, it topped the HBO Max TV show category in seven countries, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Taiwan, for two consecutive weeks, and ranked first on Viki in the US and Canada, and third on Disney+ in Japan.

In September, Kim Do-hoon was embroiled in dating rumors with Kim Yoo-jung. Reports emerged of sightings of the two at a Vietnamese airport in May, and both posted photos from a trip to Nha Trang on social media. Kim Yoo-jung addressed the rumors at a press conference, stating, "As soon as the article came out, I called him (Kim Do-hoon) right away. We laughed for three minutes straight."
