Renowned Makeup Artist Sontail Revealed as Aunt to The Boyz's Eric

Sontail, the head makeup artist at Jung Saem Mool Inspiration, has been revealed to be the aunt of The Boyz's Eric.

Coupang Play's variety show 'Just Makeup' is a large-scale makeup survival competition featuring top K-beauty makeup artists showcasing their unique styles. Sontail, who finished as the runner-up, expressed relief after the show's conclusion. She stated, "I didn't expect to make it to the finals. I participated for the experience and saw it as an opportunity for personal growth and self-testing."

Sontail focused more on the preparation process and her growth as an artist rather than winning. "Instead of thinking about how to win, I focused on producing results that I could be satisfied with," she explained. Reflecting on her runner-up finish, she said, "I have no regrets or disappointment. I'm grateful. Those were meaningful days for me."

It was previously revealed that Sontail's nephew is Eric from The Boyz, which became a hot topic. When asked if she communicated with Eric during the show, Sontail shared, "He never used to contact me, but he did. Eric kept mentioning, 'My aunt is also a makeup artist,' which is how it spread."

Sontail added, "The Boyz fans seemed to know about it. They often requested collaborations with Eric. We recently filmed a video together. It was my first time doing makeup for my nephew. Eric's father resembles me, and since Eric is a mix of both, he has a slight resemblance."
