Do Kyung-soo and Lee Kwang-soo Captivate Audiences with Versatile Chemistry in Variety Shows and Dramas
On tvN's 'Kong Kong Pang Pang,' the duo showcases their human side. The show, featuring their close friend Kim Woo-bin, is a culinary journey through Mexico and part of Na Young-seok PD's 'Kong Kong Pat Pat' series. In the show, Lee Kwang-soo plays the CEO of KKPP Food, while Do Kyung-soo is the director.
Even before their trip, the two were at odds. Due to company travel expense policies, CEO Lee Kwang-soo received a significantly higher allowance, prompting Do Kyung-soo to suggest equal distribution among the three. When Do Kyung-soo provocatively stated, "Honestly, I've never thought of you as the CEO," Lee Kwang-soo retorted, "Do you want to get fired?" At a restaurant in Mexico, when opinions clashed over menu choices, Do Kyung-soo and Kim Woo-bin naturally ignored Lee Kwang-soo's suggestions.
During the trip, Do Kyung-soo lost a friendship bracelet within two hours but managed to find it. When he didn't immediately recognize it, Lee Kwang-soo humorously exclaimed, "Get out of my sight right now." Despite the teasing, they showed warmth by sharing food and applying face masks, bringing smiles to viewers.
Lee Kwang-soo's character, Do-kyung, displays ruthless behavior, showing no remorse even after committing murder. His blood-soaked appearance, under the influence of alcohol and drugs, shocked viewers. Do Kyung-soo's Yohan exudes a chilling aura, devoid of humanity, as he holds power over VIPs by concealing their crimes. The duo's involvement in a 'murder racing game' with prison inmates is spine-chilling.
Do Kyung-soo shared, "Kwang-soo hyung is usually assertive and tough on younger colleagues, but he's different when working on projects. He was a great support on set. I learned a lot from him since 'It's Okay, That's Love,' from acting to how he treats people around him." Lee Kwang-soo added, "I was worried about feeling awkward acting with Kyung-soo, but it was great. Thanks to Kyung-soo, I could do everything I wanted. He accepted and appreciated everything, allowing me to comfortably execute my ideas." While they playfully tease each other in variety shows, they are serious professionals on drama sets.
Do Kyung-soo and Lee Kwang-soo know how to adapt to different settings, making them beloved as the 'Su-su Brothers' in both variety shows and dramas.
