Yoon Kye-sang Discusses His Role in 'UDT: Our Neighborhood Task Force'
On the 17th, a press conference for the Coupang Play X Genie TV original series 'UDT: Our Neighborhood Task Force' was held at a hotel in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Yoon Kye-sang, Jin Seon-kyu, Kim Ji-hyun, Go Kyu-pil, Lee Jung-ha, and director Jo Woong.
'UDT: Our Neighborhood Task Force' is a thrilling and humorous story about a group of former special forces soldiers who come together not to protect the country or for world peace, but solely for their families and neighborhood.
In the series, Yoon Kye-sang plays Choi Kang, a former special forces operative who is now an insurance investigator known in his neighborhood as 'the guy who didn't serve in the military'. Yoon explained his decision to take on the role, saying, "There are several reasons. I wanted to try action roles before I got too old. The character of Choi Kang offered that opportunity, so I thought it was the right time."
The series features numerous action scenes. Yoon shared, "There's an action scene in the second episode. While doing it, I realized, 'I'm still at an age where I can perform action scenes,'" he said with a smile.
'UDT: Our Neighborhood Task Force' premiered on the 17th at 10 PM on Coupang Play and Genie TV, and is also being broadcast simultaneously on ENA.
