Tzuyang's Culinary Adventure: From Seoul to Jeju in 'Where to Bounce'

In the episode aired on the 16th, Tzuyang successfully completed a nationwide restaurant relay, starting from Cheongju and extending to Seoul and Jeju Island, showcasing her exceptional culinary IQ.

On this episode, 'Matteus' members Kim Dae-ho, Ahn Jae-hyun, Tzuyang, and Jonathan embarked on their first restaurant relay with Tzuyang's favorite dish, tteokbokki. Known for her impressive monthly income of approximately 100 million won, Tzuyang confidently led the way, declaring, "I've been here before, so I'll lead. Today is a 100% success," and successfully secured the first stop upon arrival.

The first destination was a renowned tteokbokki restaurant in Cheongju, famous among locals. 'Matteus' indulged in the nostalgic yet profound flavors of custom-made rice cake tteokbokki, fish cakes, fried snacks, and slushies. As a frequent visitor, Tzuyang shared her tips for enhancing the taste experience. The group also shared childhood memories, with Tzuyang recalling her shy elementary school days when she would buy ten snacks after lunch, surprising everyone with her early love for food.

The tteokbokki restaurant owner shared a cherished memory of discovering a life-changing rib restaurant in Jeju during a honeymoon trip amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This revelation surprised everyone, as 'Matteus' had previously missed a chance to visit a Jeju restaurant due to flight schedule conflicts. Jonathan remarked, "'Where to Bounce' is complete today," marveling at the spontaneous relay from Cheongju to Seoul's Gimpo Airport and finally to Jeju.

With only an hour and a half to spare, Tzuyang cleverly used an app to reduce waiting time, earning praise from Kim Dae-ho, who called her "our brain." Once inside, 'Matteus' boldly ordered the entire menu, surprising the owner. The table was soon filled with various pork cuts, meljeot stew, doenjang rice, cold noodles, and meljeot fried rice.

Kim Dae-ho praised the pork's texture, comparing it to beef, while Ahn Jae-hyun admired the smoky flavor and savory sides. Tzuyang, preferring her meat slightly undercooked, requested permission from the owner and, with just ten minutes left, ordered marinated ribs, expressing her delight at visiting Jeju.

Finally, the rib restaurant owner introduced a cherished Jeju mackerel stew restaurant, a family favorite since childhood, as a life-changing culinary destination.
