Gong Yoo's Playful Reaction to Cookie Gift Sparks Laughter

Actor Gong Yoo recently brought smiles with his humorous reaction.

Gong Yoo shared a post on his personal account saying, "I'm really thankful too, but... Is Dong-gu an uncle and Min-ja an older sister?" along with a photo. The image featured homemade cookies, seemingly gifted by staff.

The cookies for Gong Yoo had the message "For Uncle Dong-gu," while Song Hye-kyo's cookies read "For Sister Min-ja." Despite being only two years apart—Gong Yoo born in 1979 and Song Hye-kyo in 1981—Gong Yoo humorously expressed his slight disappointment at being called 'uncle.'

Previously, Song Hye-kyo also shared her gratitude for receiving a gift from the same staff. Gong Yoo playfully remarked, "I'm thankful too, but..."

Gong Yoo and Song Hye-kyo are currently filming the new Netflix series "Show Business（천천히 강렬하게）." Written by Noh Hee-kyung, this major project with a budget of 80 billion won is set against the backdrop of the Korean entertainment industry from the 1960s to the 1980s. It portrays the growth of characters who, despite having nothing, dream of success.

In the series, Song Hye-kyo (Min-ja) and Gong Yoo (Dong-gu) are childhood friends who eventually venture into the music industry together.
