'Rookie Coach' Kim Yeon-koung has candidly shared her thoughts for the first time.

On the 14th, the YouTube channel 'Wonder Dogs Locker Room' released a video titled "[Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung] Unreleased Dinner Meeting with Captain Pyo Seung-joo."

In the video, Kim Yeon-koung meets with Wonder Dogs' captain Pyo Seung-joo for dinner and discusses her experiences as a coach. She revealed, "I always had the intention to become a coach. I also considered an administrative role, and when I was contemplating my path after retirement, I received an offer to coach the Wonder Dogs."

Kim Yeon-koung continued, "Taking on the role of a coach has been more challenging than I anticipated. If I don't dedicate all my time to the team, we don't grow together," she admitted, sharing her honest struggles.

Kim Yeon-koung mentioned that she no longer has a personal life, saying, "Managing my condition is crucial. Living a disciplined life with the Wonder Dogs has made me healthier." She also expressed her growth as a coach, stating, "When my strategies align well and the players improve, I feel a sense of pride and excitement."

Meanwhile, MBC's 'Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung' is a program that captures the challenges and growth of Kim Yeon-koung, a volleyball legend turned rookie coach, leading the 'Wonder Dogs.' It has been the top-ranked TV-OTT Sunday show for four consecutive weeks, receiving much love.

The upcoming 8th episode of 'Rookie Coach Kim Yeon-koung' will air on the 16th at 9:50 PM, 40 minutes later than usual.
