Lee Chan-won Expresses Disappointment with Kang Ho-dong on 'Knowing Bros'
On the October 8th episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros,' Lee Chan-won, Sunmi, Song Min-jun, and MimiMimu made appearances.
During the show, Kang Ho-dong expressed his apologies to Lee Chan-won, who had appeared as a guest singer for the 500th episode special. Kang admitted, "I have no excuse," explaining that Lee's interview was cut due to an unexpected emotional performance by Kim Young-chul. "The interview was cut because Kim Young-chul's 'Golden' stage was unexpectedly moving," Kang confessed.
Lee Chan-won expressed his disappointment, saying, "The interview didn't air, and even my song was cut after the first verse. I was shocked while monitoring it," he lamented. Kang reiterated that Kim Young-chul's performance led to the editing of Lee's segment.
Once Lee Chan-won's edited interview was aired, the cast thanked him, with Lee expressing his admiration for Kang Ho-dong, calling him a life model and a turning point in his life.
Meanwhile, Sunmi humorously commented on Lee's love for 'Star King,' saying, "I shiver whenever 'Star King' is mentioned." She recalled her guest appearance on the show, revealing, "Kang Ho-dong favored Girls' Generation more," and added that Wonder Girls were less outgoing than Girls' Generation.
Kim Hee-chul mentioned that Sunmi and Shindong were trainees together, with Shindong revealing, "We were audition mates." Shindong humorously admitted, "I ranked first in the audition and debuted with Super Junior, while Sunmi was taken by JYP." Kim Hee-chul joked, "If Sunmi had ranked first, would she have been in Super Junior and Shindong in Wonder Girls?" Sunmi added humorously, "Shindong was first, but he wasn't funny enough to win a comedy award," adding to the laughter.
