Oh Jung-se Makes a Special Cameo in 'Annoying Love' with a Nostalgic Twist

Actor Oh Jung-se made a special appearance in the drama 'Annoying Love'.

In the second episode of tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Annoying Love', which aired on the 4th, Oh Jung-se appeared as a futsal coach alongside Lee Jung-jae, who plays the role of Hyun-jun, a nationally renowned actor specializing in detective roles. Oh Jung-se's character humorously suggested a gangster role to Hyun-jun, who was eager for an image change, while also feeling a bit competitive about Hyun-jun's futsal skills.

Oh Jung-se's cameo was made possible due to his connection with director Kim Ga-ram, with whom he worked on OCN's 'Vampire Detective'. This appearance also marked a long-awaited reunion with Lee Jung-jae since their collaboration in the 2003 film 'Oh! Brothers', leaving a strong impression on viewers.

Notably, Oh Jung-se, who played the role of Nam Teacher in 'Oh! Brothers', reunited with Lee Jung-jae, who played Oh Sang-woo, 22 years after the film's release. Oh Jung-se reportedly came up with a playful idea to evoke memories of a scene from the movie. To recreate the nostalgic feel, he wore an outfit in 'Annoying Love' that closely resembled the tracksuit he wore in 'Oh! Brothers'.

Through this special appearance, Oh Jung-se showcased a delightful chemistry with Lee Jung-jae, blending past and present, and offering both fun and nostalgia to the audience. Meanwhile, Oh Jung-se is currently preparing for various upcoming projects.
