Lee Jae-wook Shines in 'Last Summer' with a Captivating Performance

Actor Lee Jae-wook delivers a compelling performance in 'Last Summer.' The premiere episode, which aired on the 1st, garnered a viewership rating of 2.7%, a decrease of 2.2 percentage points from the final episode of its predecessor, 'Eunsoo's Good Day,' which recorded 4.9%.

Lee Jae-wook takes on the role of Baek Do-ha, a genius architect returning to his hometown after two years, in the KBS 2TV weekend mini-series 'Last Summer.' In the recent episode, Lee skillfully portrayed the nuanced emotions of Do-ha as he reunites with his childhood friend of 17 years, Ha-kyung, played by Choi Sung-eun. His realistic depiction of the complex emotions, ranging from antagonistic chemistry to longing and excitement, enhanced the show's immersion.

Lee also showcased the expertise of a foreign-educated architect, revealing a diverse charm. His ability to naturally adapt his expressions and tone according to the situation convincingly conveyed the character's inner world.

Previously, Lee Jae-wook played Hong-rang in Netflix's 'Tangeum,' performing high-level action scenes without a stunt double, opening a new chapter in the mystery melodrama genre. In Disney+'s 'Royal Loader,' he impressed audiences with his commanding presence as the cold strategist Han Tae-oh.

With each project, Lee Jae-wook continues to expand his acting spectrum, adding depth to his roles. Fans are eager to see if he will once again redefine his career with 'Last Summer' through his matured performance.
