Lee Junho and Kim Min-ha Showcase Perfect Chemistry in 'Typhoon Family'

Lee Junho and Kim Min-ha have showcased their remarkable chemistry together.

In the 7th episode of tvN's 'Typhoon Family' (directed by Lee Na-jung, Kim Dong-hwi/written by Jang Hyun) aired on the night of the 1st, the fantastic collaboration between Kang Tae-pung (played by Lee Junho) and Oh Mi-sun (played by Kim Min-ha) was depicted.

In this episode, Kang Tae-pung, facing a blocked export route due to the schemes of his rival Pyo Hyun-jun (played by Moo Jin-sung), staged a fake drug operation to overcome a precarious crisis. Afterward, he confessed his feelings directly to Oh Mi-sun, who was worried about him, bringing a flutter of excitement. He also reaffirmed his unchanging deep friendship with his long-time friend Hwang Yoon-sung (played by Yang Byung-yeol).

When Kang Tae-pung's path to export 5,000 safety shoes was blocked, he accepted the request of a deep-sea fishing boat captain, who had a connection with his father Kang Jin-young (played by Sung Dong-il), and hid the safety shoes in seafood and crab boxes to load them onto the ship.

However, just as the ship was about to set sail, the police arrived following a drug smuggling report and began searching the vessel. In this crisis, Kang Tae-pung showed his wit. He carried flour, moved from the deep-sea fishing boat to an oil boat, and distracted the police by shouting, "It's been a while since I smelled this, and it's amazing," while eating the flour. The police confirmed it was flour and concluded the case as a false report, saying, "If you eat drugs like that, you'd die immediately," allowing the deep-sea fishing boat to depart safely.

But the crisis wasn't over. As Kang Tae-pung was about to disembark from the oil boat, he was caught by the captain, and loan shark Ryu Hee-kyu (played by Lee Jae-kyun) and Pyo Hyun-jun appeared. Pyo Hyun-jun threatened Ryu Hee-kyu to kill Kang Tae-pung, but Ryu Hee-kyu said, "If I kill Kang Tae-pung, I won't get paid," and let him go.

Later, Kang Tae-pung met Oh Mi-sun, who was about to jump into the sea with a tube out of concern for him. Kang Tae-pung confessed directly to Oh Mi-sun, saying, "I think I like you, Chief Oh." He added, "You're really dirty and shabby right now, but you're pretty," and "Come to think of it, you're always the same, but you seem to be getting purer." He continued, "You're cute when you're angry and prettier when you smile," expressing his affection, and Oh Mi-sun smiled shyly, albeit flustered.

Meanwhile, Kang Tae-pung sold the safety shoes to pay off Park Yoon-chul's (played by Jin Sun-kyu) loan shark debt and made a profit, then reunited with his friend Hwang Yoon-sung, who had fled overnight. Hwang Yoon-sung, upon hearing Kang Tae-pung's confession that "my family went bankrupt too," said he was working at a helmet factory and handed over a money envelope along with a helmet he made. This was to repay the money Kang Tae-pung had once given him, and the envelope contained a note saying, "I received my salary," and "I wanted to repay you first." Kang Tae-pung also gifted Hwang Yoon-sung safety shoes, saying, "Don't get hurt," and the two delivered a touching moment with their unchanging deep friendship.
