Brian Reveals Why Fly to the Sky Isn't Making a Musical Comeback

On the recent episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros,' Brian from Fly to the Sky opened up about why he and Hwanhee aren't making a musical comeback together.

The episode, aired on the 1st, featured Fly to the Sky's Hwanhee and Brian, along with 'Psick Univ' members Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Min-soo.

During the show, Brian explained the reason behind Fly to the Sky's absence from the music scene. Although the duo appears together on variety shows like 'Clean Freak' and 'The Manager,' they haven't been active musically.

Brian confessed, "I'm stressed because I can't perform music due to my throat condition. I feel sorry for Hwanhee, who is waiting for me." He elaborated on his throat issues, saying, "I receive treatment and training, but there's also a mental block. I keep thinking, 'You can't do it anymore.'" Seo Jang-hoon likened it to the 'yips' that athletes experience.

Hwanhee humorously shared, "We've been living together since we were 18, and we've fought a lot. When we argue, I can't win. It's like arguing with a woman. When he scolds the younger members, he feels like a strong grandmother. Even though we're a male duo, I thought of us as a mixed group."

Recently, 'Psick Univ' members Jung Jae-hyung and Kim Min-soo made headlines with their 2025 remaster of 'Sea of Love.' They filmed the music video without Fly to the Sky's permission.

Brian shared that he received a DM with a message and link from Kim Min-soo, saying, "I could tell they studied a lot from the video. I was grateful that Jae-hyung played Hwanhee, but he said, 'I don't know how Hwanhee will react.'"

Hwanhee expressed, "I wasn't upset, but people around me suggested sending a legal notice. Still, when we perform, people sing along enthusiastically," showing his appreciation.

The 'Psick Univ' duo revealed, "The music video production cost us 300,000 won, including toll fees, coffee, and crab stew," surprising everyone.
