Han Suk-kyu has uncovered the truth about his son's death.

In the 11th episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Shin's Project' (written by Ban Ki-ri, directed by Shin Kyung-soo, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Two Frame), which aired on the 27th, Shin Sa-jang (played by Han Suk-kyu) was shocked to learn the truth about the day his son died.

The episode achieved a viewership rating of 8.8% on average in the Seoul metropolitan area, peaking at 10.3%, and 9.1% nationwide, peaking at 10.5%, ranking first in its time slot across all channels, including terrestrial networks. Additionally, it ranked first among tvN's target demographic of men and women aged 20-49 on cable and comprehensive programming channels. (Based on paid platforms combining cable, IPTV, and satellite, provided by Nielsen Korea) Previously, the ratings had dropped to 5.5% in episode 7 but rebounded to the 8% range from episode 9.

On this day, Shin Sa-jang kidnapped the murderer Yoon Dong-hee (played by Min Sung-wook) and confronted him with a photo of his son, demanding the truth about the incident. However, Yoon Dong-hee claimed he couldn't remember and insisted that all he did that day was have lunch with Lee Heo-jun (played by Park Hyuk-kwon), the director of the National Forensic Hospital, adding to the frustration. Believing that the key clue lay with Lee Heo-jun, Shin Sa-jang secretly shared a plan to bring him out with Jo Philip (played by Bae Hyeon-seong) and Choi Chul (played by Kim Sung-oh).

Shin Sa-jang's operation proceeded smoothly. First, Lee Si-on (played by Lee Re) secured the original USB containing evidence of Yoon Dong-hee and Lee Heo-jun's murder solicitation from Ju Madam (played by Woo Mi-hwa), the representative of Club Secret, and immediately handed it over to Kim Soo-dong (played by Jung Eun-pyo), an administrative welfare center official, who decrypted it, providing a crucial clue.

Jo Philip and Choi Chul orchestrated an unexpected twist. They reversed the situation from 'hostage-taker Shin Sa-jang, hostage Yoon Dong-hee' to 'hostage-taker Yoon Dong-hee, hostage Shin Sa-jang' and made it public. Choi Chul then hinted to Lee Heo-jun that someone familiar with the hostage-taker was needed, and Jo Philip, disguised as the negotiator for the hostage-taker, brought Lee Heo-jun to Shin Sa-jang.

With Shin Sa-jang, Yoon Dong-hee, and Lee Heo-jun finally gathered in one place, Lee Heo-jun continued to deny any connection with Yoon Dong-hee, citing his mental illness, revealing his villainous nature. However, Yoon Dong-hee's desperate outbursts about murder solicitation orders and financial transactions provoked Lee Heo-jun, who eventually revealed his true colors by strangling Yoon Dong-hee.

Furthermore, Lee Heo-jun nonchalantly smiled and found the situation amusing when Shin Sa-jang asked why he killed his son. He casually replied that he was busy staging a hostage situation to deal with Kim Yong-woo at the time and asserted that it was merely an act committed by Yoon Dong-hee under the influence of drugs. His shameless remark, "There are many unfortunate events in the world," dismissed the son's death as an accident, leaving viewers appalled.

Hearing that his son's death was merely an accident shattered Shin Sa-jang's heart. Overwhelmed by the anger and grief accumulated from Lee Heo-jun's outrageous statements, Shin Sa-jang lunged at him, and Choi Chul, who was listening to the situation through a phone, deployed a special forces team to end the situation.

Lee Heo-jun was arrested on charges of murder solicitation and attempted murder, caught by the evidence on the USB and his own confession. After all the truths were revealed, Shin Sa-jang endured the aftermath, going through a difficult time but gradually finding peace of mind with the warm support and empathy of those around him.

The final episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Shin's Project' airs today (28th) at 8:50 PM.
