Actress Hwang Woo-seul-hye Opens Up About Her Romance with a Younger Man

Actress Hwang Woo-seul-hye, 46, who is currently dating a man one year her junior, shared insights into her romantic life.

On the 27th, a press conference for KBS2's 'Noona is My Woman' was held at the KBS headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul. The event was attended by MCs Han Hye-jin, Hwang Woo-seul-hye, Wooyoung, and producer Park Jin-woo.

'Noona is My Woman' is a program that explores the romance between women who have been too focused on their careers to find love and men who believe age is just a number when it comes to love.

During the event, Hwang Woo-seul-hye was asked if she had ever heard the phrase "Noona is my woman." She responded, "Since my mid-thirties, I've been dating younger men. I guess they see me as a woman, which is why they date me," but added, "I don't think I've ever heard the phrase 'Noona is my woman.'"

Earlier in January, Hwang Woo-seul-hye revealed she was in a relationship with a man one year younger than her. She humorously remarked, "When I was younger, I chose work over love. I think I'm alone because I prioritized work over love."

Hwang Woo-seul-hye further shared, "Coincidentally, I'm currently dating a younger man. It seems that all the good men my age got married early. The chances and opportunities to meet younger men were higher, so I ended up dating one. As an actress, younger men tend to be more flexible and understanding, which makes it easier to connect."

'Noona is My Woman' premieres on Monday, October 27th, at 9:50 PM on KBS2.
