KBS2's New Show 'Noona is My Woman' Explores Age-Gap Romance with a Fresh Twist
On the 27th, a production press conference for KBS2's 'Noona is My Woman' was held at the KBS headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul. The event was attended by hosts Han Hyejin, Hwang Wooseulhye, Wooyoung, and producer Park Jinwoo.
'Noona is My Woman' features women who have prioritized their careers over love and younger men who believe age is just a number when it comes to romance.
Han Hyejin commented, "We refer to the female participants as 'noonas.' The production team hasn't disclosed any information about them, so we don't know their ages or professions. However, it seems they've been focused solely on their careers."
Previously, Han Hyejin publicly dated Jeon Hyunmoo, whom she met on MBC's 'I Live Alone' in 2018, but they parted ways after a year.
Hwang, who revealed in January that she is dating someone a year younger, said, "In my younger years, I chose work over love, which is why I ended up alone. Coincidentally, I'm currently dating a younger man. It seems that all the good men my age got married early, so I had more opportunities to meet younger men. As an actress, younger men tend to be more flexible and understanding, which makes it easier to connect."
Finally, producer Park Jinwoo expressed confidence, saying, "While the show reflects current trends, age-gap couples are just another form of love. I believe cuteness conquers all. You'll find the younger men on the show to be charming, lovely, provocative, yet masculine."
'Noona is My Woman' premieres on the 27th at 9:50 PM.
