Korean Broadcaster Kim Gura Reveals His Successful Gold Investment Journey
On the 25th, a video titled "Why Was 'Kim Gura' Mentioned in the National Assembly Audit?" was uploaded to Kim Gura's YouTube channel 'GreeGura.'
In the video, Kim Gura humorously discussed being mentioned during a national audit. He said, "They mentioned in the audit that 'Kim Gura bought gold five years ago, and his 100 million KRW investment turned into 340 million KRW,'" expressing his surprise at being referenced.
Kim Gura candidly shared, "I'm 55 now, and at one point, I had to shoulder a large debt due to issues with my ex-wife, which I have since repaid. I worked hard to earn money, and anyone can do basic financial investments."
He added with his characteristic wit, "If it had reached 3 billion KRW, it would have been a big deal. I wouldn't have even talked about it. What's so great about it?"
Meanwhile, Kim Gura divorced in 2015 due to financial issues related to his ex-wife's debts and guarantees, which led to asset seizures. He repaid her 1.7 billion KRW debt within three years and remarried in 2020 to a woman 12 years his junior, welcoming their daughter, Suhyun, in 2021.
