Actor Choo Young-woo Honored at the 16th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards
Choo Young-woo, an actor who debuted in 2021, was awarded the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation at the 16th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards held at the National Theater of Korea in Seoul on the 23rd.

The Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards is the highest government accolade in the field of popular culture and arts, designed to encourage the efforts and achievements of those in the industry, including singers, actors, comedians, voice actors, broadcast writers, and musicians, while enhancing the social status and creative motivation of popular culture artists.

On receiving the award, Choo Young-woo expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for this meaningful award. As much as you love my work, my acting, and me as a person, I will strive to become an actor who loves acting more and approaches it sincerely. Thank you once again."

This year, Choo Young-woo has been on a roll with a series of successful projects, starting with JTBC's 'The Tale of Lady Ok', followed by Netflix series 'The Trauma Code', 'Mercy for None', and tvN's 'Head Over Heels'. He has consistently showcased a new persona in each project, proving his limitless acting range with solid performances and exceptional character portrayal.

Recently, Choo Young-woo successfully concluded his solo fan meeting '2025 CHOO YOUNG WOO ASIA FANMEETING TOUR 'Who (is) Choo?'' in Seoul and Bangkok. He is set to continue meeting fans in Taipei, Osaka, Tokyo, and other cities.
