Do Kyung-wan Opens Up About Being in the Shadow of Wife Jang Yoon-jung

On the recent episode of JTBC's variety show 'Blatant Double Life,' aired on the 21st, the dual household lives of couples Jang Yoon-jung and Do Kyung-wan, along with Hong Hyun-hee and Jason, were revealed.
During the episode, Do Kyung-wan expressed, "I felt like I became the head of the Cultural Heritage Administration. When people meet me, their first words are, 'Is Yoon-jung doing well?' or 'Take good care of Yoon-jung.' As long as I treat Jang Yoon-jung well, that's all that matters to them. They have zero interest in me," he began.
Jang Yoon-jung explained, "Since his title became 'Jang Yoon-jung's husband,' Do Kyung-wan has been under a lot of stress. But it's not a situation I can control. He would get annoyed with me. Hearing comments like 'How nice it must be that your wife earns well' outside, he would come home stressed."

Jang Yoon-jung, who even shares her appearance fees, added, "I want to boost his confidence so much that when we co-host a program and there's a big difference in our fees, I talk to the production team to allocate some of my fee to him."

Meanwhile, the couple recently faced controversy due to announcer Kim Jin-woong's remarks. On KBS 2TV's variety show 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears,' Kim Jin-woong stated, "I can't live like senior Do Kyung-wan. It might be a rude comment, but I can't live as someone's subordinate."
In response, Jang Yoon-jung criticized on her social media, "Even without familiarity, words or actions that the other person can't laugh at can't be disguised as jokes or pranks. There's no subordinate in a family." Kim Jin-woong later issued an apology on his social media.
