Rising Star Han Ga-eul Revealed as Nephew of Actor Won Bin

Actor Won Bin's (47, real name Kim Do-jin) familial connection to rising actress Han Ga-eul (25, real name Hwang Ga-eul) has recently come to light, capturing public attention.

On the 20th, Han Ga-eul's agency, Story J Company, confirmed, "Han Ga-eul is the daughter of Won Bin's older sister, making them first cousins once removed." They added, "Han Ga-eul's real name is Hwang Ga-eul, and she is actively pursuing her acting career."

Han Ga-eul made her entertainment debut in 2022, appearing in the music video for singer Nam Young-joo's single 'Again, Dream(다시, 꿈).' At the time, Story J Company announced their exclusive contract with her, describing her as "a rookie actress with limitless potential."

She later took on the role of 'Jang Ye-jin,' an intern in the marketing team of Maron Confectionery, in the MBC drama 'To the Moon,' marking her drama debut. Her stable performance, unusual for a newcomer, garnered attention.

The revelation of Han Ga-eul's family ties to Won Bin, which had not been previously disclosed, has sparked interest and discussion.
