On the day of the parent observation class at Muchang Kindergarten, Kim Young-ran steps in as teacher Busimi at the request of Director Lee Mi-sun (played by Seo Jae-hee), who mentions that parents want to see classes taught by teachers from Lee Sun-yeo University. The class proceeds well amidst enthusiastic reactions from children and parents, but the sudden intrusion of Kim Young-ran's mother, Kim So-young, covered in injuries, shocks everyone.

Startled by her unexpected appearance, Kim Young-ran quickly takes her mother home to understand the situation. However, Kim So-young is not easily swayed and accuses Kim Young-ran of killing Chairman Ga Sung-ho (played by Moon Sung-geun), infuriating viewers.

Kim So-young even acts as a spy, sending photos of Kim Young-ran, Jeon Dong-min, Jeon Joo-won (played by Yang Woo-hyuk), and various locations in Muchang Village to Ga Sun-young. After Kim So-young disappears, Jeon Joo-won is seen with a shocked expression, and a broadcast announces his disappearance, putting Muchang Village on high alert.

Alarmed by the broadcast, Kim Young-ran checks the CCTV and discovers that Jeon Joo-won left in a stranger's car after Kim So-young visited the supermarket. If Kim So-young came down with someone sent by Ga Sun-young, Jeon Joo-won's safety is uncertain. Overcome with anxiety, Kim Young-ran and Jeon Dong-min set out to find him.

Contrary to their fears, Jeon Joo-won safely returns to Kim Young-ran and Jeon Dong-min. Relieved that their worst fears did not come true, Kim Young-ran hugs the child tightly, sighing in relief. Jeon Dong-min arrives at the scene, and the three share a tearful reunion before heading home.

Jeon Dong-min expresses his concern and guilt to Kim Young-ran, who was injured while rescuing Jeon Joo-won. Despite his gruff demeanor, his kind words prompt Kim Young-ran to offer him candy, creating a sweet atmosphere between them.

Kim Young-ran has noticed Jeon Dong-min's efforts to protect her, from installing streetlights on dark paths to joining her on morning runs. These small gestures reveal Jeon Dong-min's genuine care, bringing a smile to Kim Young-ran's face and indicating a change in her feelings.

While Jeon Dong-min provides a comforting presence like a greenhouse, a new threat emerges, targeting Kim Young-ran.
