Jun Ji-hyun and Ji Chang-wook to Star in Upcoming Drama 'Human X Gumiho'

Renowned actors Jun Ji-hyun and Ji Chang-wook are set to star in the upcoming drama 'Human X Gumiho(인간X구미호)', which is slated to begin production in March next year. The drama is expected to be distributed through JTBC, Coupang Play, and Amazon Prime.

According to a report by TENASIA on the 21st, the two actors are strongly considered for the lead roles in 'Human X Gumiho'. Industry insiders believe their participation is virtually confirmed.

'Human X Gumiho' is a joint production by HighZium Studio and Contents Planner, with writer Im Me-a-ri at the helm. Im is known for her work on JTBC's 'The Beauty Inside' and tvN's 'Doom at Your Service'. JTBC is likely to broadcast the drama, while Coupang Play and Amazon Prime are expected to handle domestic and international streaming, respectively.

Jun Ji-hyun and Ji Chang-wook will reunite in 'Human X Gumiho' after working together on the film 'Colony', directed by Yeon Sang-ho, which began filming in March.

Born in 1981, Jun Ji-hyun debuted as a magazine model in 1997 and began her acting career in 1998. She has starred in hit dramas such as 'My Love from the Star' and 'The Legend of the Blue Sea', as well as blockbuster films like 'The Thieves' and 'Assassination'. Ji Chang-wook, who debuted in 2008, gained fame through dramas like 'My Too Perfect Sons', 'Smile Again', 'Empress Ki', 'Healer', 'Suspicious Partner', and 'Welcome to Samdal-ri'.
