In the early episodes, some viewers commented that Heo Nam-joon looked awkward in a school uniform, saying it was distracting due to his age. Heo responded cautiously, "I can only say it's unfortunate."
He explained, "High school students back then appeared quite mature. Even looking at old photos of my father's friends, they look different from today's students." He added with a laugh, "I didn't expect such a negative reaction. I'm sorry if it felt jarring. We've already filmed everything, so there's nothing I can do."

When asked about his most memorable scene from '100 Memories', Heo Nam-joon recalled, "I remember when Jae-pil confessed to Jong-hee at the playground." He reflected, "It was the first time Jae-pil revealed himself. It was an early shoot, and I was quite nervous, but filming that scene helped me immerse myself more into the role of Han Jae-pil."
