Korean Singer Hye-eun's Staggering 1980s Earnings Revealed

On the episode of KBS2TV's 'Park Won-sook's Live Together' aired on the evening of the 20th, Hye-eun disclosed her earnings from the 1980s.
In this episode, comedian Oh Na-mi from Gongju served as a guide for Park Won-sook, Hye-eun, Hong Jin-hee, and Hwang Seok-jeong. During their Gongju tour, the group visited the old Gongju Town Office to explore an exhibition hall filled with relics from the 1980s.
While exploring the exhibition, the members discovered an appointment certificate and a salary envelope from 1983, sparking curiosity about the cost of living at the time. Upon seeing the 260,000 won salary noted on the envelope, Hong Jin-hee remarked, "When I joined MBC in 1981, I earned 250,000 won a month, which was comparable to a new employee at a major corporation," explaining the salary levels of the early 1980s. It was then that Hye-eun shocked everyone by revealing her unimaginable performance fees as a top star of the 1980s, when a bowl of jjajangmyeon cost just 400 won.

Hong Jin-hee was taken aback by the 20 million won fee, exclaiming, "A bowl of jjajangmyeon was 400 won, but you earned 20 million won. Where did it all go?" To this, Hye-eun candidly replied, "I just spent it freely," adding humor to the moment. Hwang Seok-jeong also expressed disbelief, asking, "Where did it all go?" Hong Jin-hee hugged Hye-eun, joking, "It was all for others."
During this exchange, Hong Jin-hee jokingly mentioned to Park Won-sook, "You have so much money in a Swiss bank," referencing a fake news rumor. Park Won-sook humorously responded, "Rumors will start again," adding to the laughter.
