Kim Go-eun Reveals Her Secrets to Maintaining a Slim Figure on YouTube Show

In a recent episode of the YouTube channel '117,' titled 'Top Star Sister and Sunshine Chick MC Meet: Actress Kim Go-eun,' the actress appeared alongside 'Stray Kids' member Felix, who served as a special MC. During the show, Kim Go-eun candidly discussed her eating habits and her tendency to bloat, showcasing her relatable charm.
Felix expressed his curiosity about Kim Go-eun beyond her professional life, asking, "Do you have any favorite foods?" Kim Go-eun responded, "I really enjoy eating, so it's quite challenging for me."
When Felix inquired about her diet management, Kim Go-eun admitted, "I don't really manage my diet. If I feel like I've gained weight, I just eat half a bowl of rice instead of a full one." She confessed, "I find it hard to stick to a diet. When I try, I wonder, 'Why am I living? I'm supposed to eat to live,' and it makes me sad." She added, "When I see people who manage their diets so professionally, I reflect on myself, but I just can't do it." Felix reassured her, saying, "You don't need to worry about that. You look very slim," expressing concern.
Kim Go-eun also shared, "I tend to bloat easily, especially around my eyes and nose, and even minor swelling looks significant on camera." She revealed, "Sometimes directors ask for a moment so I can quickly run to reduce the swelling."
While checking the refrigerator, Felix noted, "You don't eat much, but you seem to have a strong preference for Korean food," and asked about the presence of soda water. Kim Go-eun explained, "I like whiskey highballs. I only drink 'Balvenie' whiskey and prefer 'Singha' soda water. I also drink sparkling water with ice when I'm thirsty." Felix remarked, "That's surprising. I thought you'd prefer wine," to which Kim Go-eun replied, "I can't handle wine well; it makes me drunk quickly. I prefer stronger drinks."

Felix had been leading up to offering his signature dessert, brownies. He said, "I was really curious if you could eat this," and handed her a brownie. Despite her usual dislike for sweets, Kim Go-eun said, "I can eat it," and eagerly took a bite, adding warmth to the moment.
Later, Kim Go-eun tasted Felix's Vegemite toast and prepared kimchi stew for him, wrapping up their enjoyable time together. Kim Go-eun, born in 1991, and Felix, born in 2000, have a nine-year age difference. Kim Go-eun recently appeared in the Netflix drama 'Eunjong and Sangyeon,' released in September, and is set to star in the upcoming project 'The Price of Confession.'
