Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, and Park Yong-woo Face Betrayal and Revenge in 'Walking On Thin Ice'

Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, and Park Yong-woo are caught in a whirlwind of betrayal and revenge.

The ninth episode of KBS 2TV's weekend mini-series 'Walking On Thin Ice' (directed by Song Hyun-wook, written by Jeon Young-shin) airs on the 18th at 9:20 PM. In this episode, Kang Eunsoo (played by Lee Young-ae) explodes with anger at Lee Kyung (played by Kim Young-kwang) for deceiving her and colluding with Jang Taegu (played by Park Yong-woo), marking a new phase in the story.

Previously, Kang Eunsoo was blackmailed into resuming drug sales due to a photo taken on the day of Hwang Dong-hyun's (played by Lee Kyu-sung) death. The shocking revelation that the blackmailer was Jang Taegu turned everything upside down. Furthermore, the betrayal of Lee Kyung, who had been deceiving her in league with Jang Taegu, plunged Kang Eunsoo into extreme anger and despair.

The released stills show Jang Taegu and Choi Kyung-do (played by Kwon Ji-woo) undergoing an internal corruption investigation. With the revelation of an insider leaking investigation information to the Phantom organization, the police launch a full-scale investigation. Jang Taegu, hiding his complex emotions behind a calm facade, tries to navigate the crisis, while Choi Kyung-do is visibly shaken by unexpected evidence. The subtle tension between the two characters is expected to heighten the drama's intensity.

Lee Kyung makes a final move against the Kang Hwi-rim (played by Do Sang-woo) family. He attempts a final act of revenge to end the tragedy from ten years ago, but discovers that Kang Eunsoo has approached Hwi-rim, causing another rift. Kang Hwi-rim also begins to secretly track Lee Kyung, suspecting his true identity. The audience is left wondering whether Lee Kyung will complete his decade-long revenge and return safely to his family.

Meanwhile, Kang Eunsoo, whose trust in Lee Kyung has been shattered, vents her accumulated frustration. Deeply disappointed by the realization that Lee Kyung used her solely for his own purposes, Kang Eunsoo decides to sever ties with him completely and handle everything on her own. Viewers are eager to see what final decision Eunsoo will make to protect her family as she ends their partnership.
