'I Am Solo' Sparks Drama as Contestant Faces Backlash from Fellow Participants

The latest episode of SBS PLUS's 'I Am Solo, Then Love Continues' aired on the night of the 16th, capturing viewers' attention as Season 23's Ok-soon confronted criticism from fellow contestants.

During the episode, tensions flared among the female contestants as the male participants expressed their interest in Ok-soon from Season 23. Mister Kwon, Mister Kang, and Mister Han all showed their affection towards her, leaving other female contestants like Sun-ja from Season 23, Young-sook from Season 11, and Ok-soon from Season 24 feeling uneasy. Although Ok-soon had her eyes set on Mister Kang, the male contestants were not clear about their feelings, creating a situation where the women were left waiting for Ok-soon's decision.

Mister Han, after ending his romantic pursuit of Ok-soon, made a cryptic comment within her earshot, suggesting he was trying to maintain his image. He joked to Sun-ja from Season 26 and other female contestants, "I might say, 'Why did you do that to me, Ok-soon?'" and added, "I feel like saying, 'Ok-soon, you gave me pain.'" Ok-soon overheard these remarks.

Young-sook from Season 11, upon hearing this, asked Sun-ja from Season 23 what Mister Han had said and suddenly burst into tears. When Sun-ja asked if she was upset by Mister Han's teasing, Young-sook admitted, "I thought it would be satisfying to see him teased, but seeing him like that made me sad." Nearby, Sun-ja commented loudly enough for Ok-soon to hear, "She's giving Mister Kwon hope."

Unable to hold back, Ok-soon confronted them, saying, "Didn't Young-sook from Season 11 and Sun-ja from Season 23 keep asking me who I would choose?" She continued, "I swear I've never been unclear with the men."

Sun-ja responded firmly, "You said it would end if you just made a decision," to which Ok-soon replied, "No, I can't make a decision. You don't know my situation, so why bring this up now?"

In an interview, Ok-soon expressed her frustration, saying, "They kept asking me who I would choose, and it stressed me out." However, Young-sook insisted, "Ok-soon told me to follow my heart, but I didn't come here to pursue someone uncertain," while Sun-ja maintained, "I didn't want to get involved," continuing to speak from their perspectives.
