Intense Rivalry Unfolds Between Kang Tae-oh and Jin Goo in New MBC Drama 'Moon River'

MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Moon River' (written by Jo Seung-hee, directed by Lee Dong-hyun, planned by Kwon Sung-chang, produced by High Zium Studio) has released its third teaser video, capturing the intense rivalry between Crown Prince Lee Kang (played by Kang Tae-oh) and Chief State Councilor Kim Han-cheol (played by Jin Goo).
The teaser video reveals Lee Kang, with a determined look in his eyes, burning with vengeance against Kim Han-cheol, who ominously warns him in return. Lee Kang's statement, "After all, the Crown Princess is the daughter of the Chief State Councilor," hints at Kim Han-cheol's unchecked power, manipulating even the royal family to his will.
The teaser suggests that Kim Han-cheol may be linked to the dethronement of the Crown Princess, whom Lee Kang loved, as well as the death of Lee Kang's mother, sparking curiosity. Kim Han-cheol's ominous remark, "She bothers me," directed at Park Dal-i (played by Kim Se-jeong), who bears a striking resemblance to the Crown Princess, further heightens the tension.

The contrasting charisma of the fiery Lee Kang and the cold Kim Han-cheol creates an overwhelming sense of immersion, stirring curiosity about the intense rivalry that will shake both the palace and the viewers.
'Moon River' is a fantasy historical drama featuring a romance between a crown prince who has lost his smile and a merchant who has lost her memory, involving a soul-switching twist.
The drama is set to premiere on October 31st at 9:50 PM on MBC.
