Shin Hyung-tak Hints at Expanding Family with Younger Wife Saya on 'The Return of Superman'

Shin Hyung-tak subtly hinted at plans for a second child with his wife, Saya, who is 18 years his junior.

On the October 15th episode of KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' (directed by Kim Young-min), episode 593 titled 'Autumn Filled with Happiness' aired, featuring hosts Park Soo-hong, Choi Ji-woo, Ahn Young-mi, and super parents Shin Hyung-tak and Kim Yoon-ji. The show achieved a nationwide viewership rating of 3.6%, capturing both ratings and buzz, according to Nielsen Korea.

The episode showcased special days of the 'Blue Dragon Babies,' Ella and Haru. Fourteen-month-old Ella impressed with her keen observation skills, making songpyeon effortlessly, while 232-day-old Haru delighted viewers with his upgraded crawling skills, exploring every corner of the house. The adorable growth of Ella and Haru melted the hearts of viewers.

Shin Hyung-tak's son, Haru, captivated attention with his cuteness. Haru demonstrated his crawling skills, using his arm strength and chubby legs to navigate the house, charming online aunts and uncles.

Haru showed remarkable adaptability to new toys. Upon seeing a toy, he wiggled with excitement and greeted it with joyful babbling. Haru confidently passed through a toy tunnel and even the national door, displaying an unexpected ease. Shin Hyung-tak expressed his amazement, saying, "Did he pass through here for the first time today?" and added, "I'm proud of Haru for adapting well to new things," smiling warmly.

Shin Hyung-tak expressed deep affection for his family. He wrote a diary filled with hopes for his wife Saya, son Haru, and their future child. To Saya, he said, "I can't breathe without you," and to Haru, "You are a gift from heaven," expressing his love. He continued, "I hope our future children come to us healthy," revealing his heartfelt thoughts, touching viewers.
