'I Am SOLO' Season 28: First Baby Announcement Shocks Hosts

The reality show 'I Am SOLO' Season 28 has made headlines with the announcement of the first pregnancy during its airing.

On the October 15th episode of SBS Plus and ENA's 'I Am SOLO', the hosts Defconn, Lee Yi-kyung, and Song Hae-na were taken by surprise when an ultrasound video of the first 'Solonara 28' baby was revealed.

On the third night in Solonara, the second-choice dates for the solo men of the 28th season began. Young-sook found herself on a 2:1 date with Young-soo and Kwang-soo, both of whom had chosen her as their second choice. During the date, Young-sook questioned Young-soo about his feelings for Hyun-sook, to which he avoided giving a direct answer. Frustrated, Young-sook expressed her dissatisfaction, saying, "It seems like Young-soo is talking to all seven women. It doesn't look good." Young-soo defended himself, saying, "Today was the first time I talked to Ok-soon and Hyun-sook. How can I make a decision on the first day?"

In the midst of the awkward atmosphere, Young-sook questioned Young-soo's open-mindedness about raising children, asking, "Are you speaking from experience?" Young-soo admitted, "I think I was short-sighted," and later confessed in an interview, "I don't have children, so I might not fully empathize with Young-sook's feelings."

Later, Kwang-soo also drew a line when Young-sook asked about the possibility of a long-distance relationship. After the dates, Young-sook told the production team, "I think I need to let go of my feelings for Kwang-soo. When I reflect on myself, it seems like it's Young-soo. But talking to Kwang-soo made my heart flutter, and letting go of that makes me a bit sad," she said, tearing up.

After returning from the date with Young-sook, Kwang-soo immediately called out Jung-hee. Jung-hee then approached Young-sook, asking, "Did you tell Kwang-soo about my feelings?" Realizing her mistake, Young-sook apologized, "I made a big mistake. I'm sorry," she said, tearing up again. Young-sook admitted, "My heart flutters for Kwang-soo, but I'm begging for love from Young-soo," and cried once more.

After the emotional turmoil, Jung-hee met with Kwang-soo, who asked, "Have you sorted out your feelings?" Jung-hee repeatedly said, "I don't know." Kwang-soo expressed his intention to move forward, saying, "I think I have," and initiated the 'holding hands and calling each other darling' mission, which he won in a yutnori game, creating a romantic atmosphere. In an interview, Jung-hee declared, "Young-ho is no longer in my heart," and decided to pursue Kwang-soo.

The next morning, Ok-soon, who shared a room with Soon-ja, asked about her feelings while doing makeup together. Soon-ja confessed that she had feelings for Sang-chul but was hesitant because of Hyun-sook. Ok-soon advised, "Hyun-sook has sorted out her feelings for both Sang-chul and Young-soo and announced it in front of everyone. So, try to work things out with Sang-chul." Soon-ja then went to the common living room and sat next to Sang-chul, but Young-sik approached her for a one-on-one conversation. Young-sik asked, "Since the first impression selection, I've only chosen you. Am I within your boundaries?" Although Soon-ja had never considered Young-sik, she kindly lied, "I've always kept you in mind."

Meanwhile, the production team shocked the 3MCs by announcing the birth of a baby from the divorcee special. They revealed the ultrasound video of 'Nasol-i' (the baby's nickname), born during the 28th season. Defconn speculated, "Judging by the energetic heartbeat in the ultrasound, could it be Kyung-soo's child, who has been an athlete for 30 years?" Lee Yi-kyung guessed, "Could Kwang-soo and Jung-hee have had a baby?"
