Yoo Jae-suk Addresses Ji Ye-eun's Hiatus and Kim Jong-kook's Wedding Rumors on 'Running Man'

Yoo Jae-suk, a prominent South Korean television host, recently addressed the hiatus of fellow broadcaster Ji Ye-eun due to health reasons.

On the October 12th episode of SBS's variety show 'Running Man,' actors Byun Yo-han, Kim Kang-woo, Yang Se-jong, and Bang Hyo-rin participated in the 'Middle Life' race.

With Ji Ye-eun absent from the recording, Yoo Jae-suk clarified, "I want to prevent any misunderstandings. Ye-eun previously talked about burnout, but her current break is not related to that at all."

Earlier, Ji Ye-eun's agency announced, "Starting in September, she will focus on recovering her health. We will provide all necessary support for her to take sufficient rest and return."

Yoo Jae-suk further explained, "Ye-eun is currently undergoing treatment due to health check results. It's similar to Seok-jin's situation. She will return healthy once the treatment is complete. I spoke with her on the phone, and she said she's feeling much better." Ha Ha added, "She's very passionate about her work."

During the episode, the cast also discussed Kim Jong-kook's rumored honeymoon. With the cooler weather, Yoo Jae-suk commented, "This weather is perfect for an outdoor wedding." Kim Jong-kook agreed, "The smell of grass is nice," with a smile.

Yoo Jae-suk then teased, "Did Jong-kook go on a honeymoon?" Kim Jong-kook quickly changed the subject, saying, "Let's keep it quiet." Ji Seok-jin joked, "Did you go somewhere nice?" Kim Jong-kook humorously avoided a direct answer, causing laughter.

Kim Kang-woo also mentioned Kim Jong-kook's wedding, saying, "I couldn't attend because I wasn't invited, but I prepared a congratulatory envelope," handing over a white envelope. Kim Jong-kook laughed, "There must have been a lot of envelopes at the wedding. Another prank!"

Inside the envelope Kim Kang-woo handed over was fake money worth 1,000 won obtained during the recording. Ha Ha remarked, "Here, 1,000 won is like 100,000 won," expressing amazement. Kim Jong-kook smiled and expressed his gratitude.
