Tensions Rise as Lee Young-ae Suspects Jo Yeon-hee in 'Walking On Thin Ice'

In the upcoming episode 7 of KBS 2TV's weekend mini-series 'Walking On Thin Ice' (directed by Song Hyun-wook, written by Jeon Young-shin), airing at 9:20 PM on the 11th, Kang Eun-soo (played by Lee Young-ae) confronts Yang Mi-yeon (played by Jo Yeon-hee), who has threatened to reveal secrets at a parents' meeting.

The stills released ahead of the broadcast depict a tense encounter between Kang Eun-soo and Yang Mi-yeon. Previously, Yang Mi-yeon visited Kang Eun-soo's store, hinting at a revelation with a cryptic message. Kang Eun-soo, already at her wit's end after receiving threats from an unknown witness following the death of a Phantom organization member, becomes more suspicious of Yang Mi-yeon, who seems to know all the secrets. The tension escalates as viewers wonder what Yang Mi-yeon plans to reveal and if she is indeed the blackmailer as Eun-soo suspects.

Meanwhile, Jang Tae-goo (played by Park Yong-woo) of the Gwangnam Police Department's narcotics team wraps up the case by arresting the Phantom boss and his gang. However, Jang Tae-goo grows suspicious of rookie detective Kyung-do (played by Kwon Ji-woo), who becomes overly fixated on the whereabouts of a drug bag. Jang Tae-goo instructs Detective Park (played by Hwang Jae-yeol) to keep a close eye on Kyung-do, sparking new suspicions within the police ranks. As internal fractures begin to surface, viewers are eager to see the impact of Jang Tae-goo's instincts.

Additionally, another still reveals a meeting between Kyung-do and Phantom boss Kyu-man (played by Yang Hyun-joon) in a detention center visitation room. The purpose of Kyung-do's visit and whether this encounter will unravel the mystery of the missing drug bag piques viewers' curiosity.
