South Korean entertainer Ahn Young-mi has candidly shared the challenges of her long-distance marriage with her husband, who resides in the United States, and provided updates on their plans for a second child.

On the 5th, Ahn appeared as a guest on the 'Jodongari' channel, where she opened up about the difficulties she faced during her early married life.

In the video, Ahn recalled, "I wanted to meet my lifelong best friend to share sweet moments with. However, right after we registered our marriage, my husband got a job in the U.S. and left. Then, COVID-19 hit as soon as he arrived," reflecting on the situation at the time.

She continued, "I had registered our marriage and found a newlywed home, but I was alone, with everyone knowing I was married. I spent nine months like that. It was supposed to be a honeymoon, but it wasn't. It was really tough," she confessed, sharing the stark contrast between her expectations and reality.

Ahn expressed her disappointment, saying, "I love being the center of attention and imagined spending all day with someone who would love me forever, but it didn't happen that way. It was really hard, but the whole nation was struggling, so I couldn't even say I was lonely on TV."

Currently, Ahn and her husband meet every 3-4 months, maintaining a long-distance relationship. She shared, "My husband comes to Korea, and then he has to return to his job in the U.S. We encourage each other to work hard while we can," describing their realistic approach to marriage.
