Tense Confrontation: Park Yong-woo's Sharp Questions and Lee Young-ae's Tearful Performance Captivate Viewers

On the October 4th episode of KBS2TV's 'Walking On Thin Ice' (directed by Song Hyun-wook, written by Jeon Young-shin), viewers witnessed a tense scene where Jang Tae-goo (played by Park Yong-woo) posed sharp questions to Kang Eun-soo (played by Lee Young-ae).
During the episode, Jang Tae-goo and Choi Kyung-do (played by Kwon Ji-woo) met with Kang Eun-soo. Jang Tae-goo asked Kang Eun-soo, "Have you heard of James?" to which she replied, "Yes, isn't he from Medusa MD? I used to work there as a cleaning part-timer."
Kang Eun-soo then added, "Didn't you already know that?" Jang Tae-goo inquired further, "So, you have no personal connection with him?" Kang Eun-soo responded, "Not really. How would a cleaning part-timer get close to an MD?" Jang Tae-goo then handed her a piece of paper, revealing, "Your number appeared in the call records of James' burner phone."

Kang Eun-soo questioned the relevance, and Jang Tae-goo revealed, "There's a suspect who resembles you, and the scarf in the photo looks identical to the one hanging there." Ultimately, Kang Eun-soo, on the verge of tears, confessed, "I was told there was an easier way to earn money, and that they accepted women in their 30s and 40s. But when it came down to it, I couldn't go through with it. I thought of my daughter and couldn't do it." She then acted out a scene of distress.
As Jang Tae-goo observed her with a complex expression, Kang Eun-soo pleaded, "My family doesn't know. What would my husband and daughter think? I want to keep it a secret until I die." She then begged Jang Tae-goo, "Please, I'm begging you," and broke down in tears.
