Ryu Hae-jun Amplifies Drama with Emotional Performance in 'The Gentleman Project'

Actor Ryu Hae-jun intensifies the immersion of 'The Gentleman Project' with his delicate emotional acting.

tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Gentleman Project' follows Shin Sa-jang (played by Han Suk-kyu), a former legendary negotiator turned chicken restaurant owner with mysterious secrets. He navigates between legal and illegal methods to resolve cases and implement justice, making it a hero drama centered on conflict resolution.

In the episode aired on the 30th, Ryu Hae-jun played the role of Go Jae-kyung, who is entangled in a lawsuit over a deposit return claim, leading the tense storyline.

Jae-kyung, who has been like a brother to Seung-moo (played by Lee Jong-hyun) since their orphanage days, filed a lawsuit due to financial conflicts. Jae-kyung was unable to retrieve his deposit from Seung-moo's building. Although Seung-moo promised to repay soon, Jae-kyung couldn't trust his words. Meanwhile, issues regarding the title of Seung-moo's mother's house arose, deepening their conflict.

Ryu Hae-jun skillfully portrayed the complex inner world of his character, surrounded by long-standing friendships and doubts, beyond mere financial disputes. His performance, especially when discovering Seung-moo collapsed, mixed anger and concern, enhancing viewers' engagement.
