Actress YoonA shared her thoughts on working with Lee Chae-min.

Recently, YoonA, who stars in tvN's 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,' was interviewed at a hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.

tvN's new weekend drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' is a survival fantasy romantic comedy about a chef who time-slips to the past at the peak of his career and meets a tyrannical king with an impeccable palate.

In the drama, YoonA plays the role of 'Yeon Ji-young,' a French chef who encounters the king with an absolute sense of taste. Reflecting on the end of the series, YoonA said, "I've been preparing and filming as Yeon Ji-young since the end of last year, and it's already been a year. It's bittersweet to think that it's ending after 12 episodes, but I'm grateful and proud of the love we've received. I have mixed feelings about letting it go so soon."

Initially, actor Park Sung-hoon was cast as the male lead in 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,' but he stepped down following a controversy over explicit content posted on his social media last year. The role was subsequently taken over by Lee Chae-min.

With the casting change, YoonA found herself working with Lee Chae-min, who is 10 years her junior. Was she apprehensive about having a younger co-star for the first time? YoonA shared, "I've mostly worked with senior or peer actors, so this was my first time with a younger, junior actor. I thought a lot about how we could create good chemistry together."

She continued, "I recalled moments when past partners were a great help and support to me, and I tried to express those aspects. Not just Lee Chae-min, but all the actors embodied their characters so well that it felt like the project came together naturally without much effort on my part."
