H.O.T. Celebrates 29th Anniversary and Reacts to Kadehan's Lion Boys

On the October 28th broadcast of JTBC's 'Newsroom,' H.O.T. appeared on television as a complete group for the first time in seven years, celebrating their 29th anniversary.
During the broadcast, members Moon Hee-joon, Tony An, Jang Woo-hyuk, Kangta, and Lee Jae-won energetically greeted the audience with, "Hello, we are H.O.T.," demonstrating their unchanged vigor.
Jang Woo-hyuk expressed, "Seeing all five of us together after such a long time is emotional," acknowledging the passage of time. Moon Hee-joon added, "It feels like an AI synthesis because it's been so long," sharing his thoughts on their first full group appearance since 2018.

The members caught attention by mentioning the recently popular Kadehan's Lion Boys. Kangta expressed his surprise, "At first, I couldn't imagine they modeled after us, but it turns out they did." He noted, "After hearing about it, I noticed some members with hairstyles similar to Jang Woo-hyuk and Moon Hee-joon." Jang Woo-hyuk agreed, "From the outsider character to the main vocalist Kangta, we were reminded of ourselves."
Tony An added, "I didn't expect the director to mention us directly, but I'm really grateful. If given the chance, I'd love to meet them."
