New MBC Drama 'Moon River' Starring Kim Sejeong and Kang Tae-oh Set to Premiere

Following the 1% viewership ratings of MBC's 'Mary Kills People' and 'To The Moon', the baton is now passed to 'Moon River', set to premiere at the end of October. This new series marks Kim Sejeong's first venture into historical dramas since her debut in 2016.

MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Moon River' will air its first episode on October 31st at 9:50 PM. The release of two teaser posters and a special poster has heightened anticipation for the show.

'Moon River' is a historical fantasy romance drama featuring a soul-swapping storyline between a crown prince who has lost his smile and a merchant who has lost her memory. The casting of Kang Tae-oh as Crown Prince Lee Kang and Kim Sejeong as the merchant Park Dal has already garnered significant attention.

The teaser posters capture the intriguing relationship between Crown Prince Lee Kang (played by Kang Tae-oh) and merchant Park Dal (played by Kim Sejeong). In one version, Lee Kang holds Park Dal like a paper doll with a stern expression, while in another, Park Dal, dressed in royal attire, smiles mischievously as she holds Lee Kang, who has become a merchant.
