The Fighters managed to take the lead against Seoul High's intense pressure.

In the 21st episode of the baseball variety show 'Flaming Baseball,' released on Studio C1's official YouTube channel on the 22nd, the Fighters overcame Seoul High's strong pitching lineup to achieve a 2:1 comeback.

Fighters' starting pitcher Yoo Hee-kwan took the mound determined to redeem himself after a disappointing previous outing. With powerful throws and precise control, he retired the side in order in the first and second innings.

For Seoul High, Han Soo-dong, who was drafted by the Samsung Lions in the 2026 KBO Rookie Draft, started the game. His fastball, clocking in the mid-to-high 140 km/h range, kept the Fighters' lineup at bay. Despite creating a scoring opportunity in the first inning with Park Yong-taek being hit by a pitch and Lee Dae-ho drawing a walk, the Fighters failed to capitalize due to a lack of follow-up hits.

In the top of the third inning, Yoo Hee-kwan began to falter. He allowed the first hit of the game to the seventh batter, Kim Tae-sung, and Seoul High advanced a runner into scoring position with a sacrifice bunt. Yoo then gave up a lead-off hit to the first batter, Lee Si-won, but managed to end the inning without further damage thanks to a perfect pick-off play with first baseman Lee Dae-ho.

In the bottom of the third, Seoul High switched pitchers to their ace, Park Ji-sung, known as 'Two Hearts.' He used his changeup to dominate the Fighters' bats and control the game. Meanwhile, Park Yong-taek hit a single to maintain the Fighters' pride and advanced to second base during a lapse in Park Ji-sung's control. However, Park Ji-sung's strong pitching prevented any scoring, leaving the Fighters frustrated.

As the challenging game continued, Coach Kim Sung-geun made an early strategic move in the top of the fifth inning. After Yoo Hee-kwan allowed a hit, he was replaced by the Fighters' reliable one-punch, Lee Dae-eun, who rewarded the coach's trust by inducing a double play against Seoul High's Song Ji-yoon.

In the bottom of the fifth, under Coach Kim's bold strategy, the Fighters seized the opportunity for a comeback. Im Sang-woo, batting for Kim Jae-ho, drew a walk after a persistent battle at the plate, and Jung Geun-woo hit a sharp double to tie the game. In response, Seoul High made a quick pitching change in a bold move.

Coach Kim then brought in pinch hitter Moon Kyo-won to maintain the offensive momentum. Moon recorded a hit, and Park Yong-taek followed with a deep sacrifice fly to bring home Jung Geun-woo from third base, completing the 2:1 comeback and showcasing the captain's class.
