Yoon Eun-hye Opens Up About Baby V.O.X Feud Rumors Ahead of Reunion Concert

Yoon Eun-hye cautiously addressed the longstanding feud rumors surrounding Baby V.O.X.

On Big Bang's Daesung's YouTube channel 'Jipdaesung,' a video titled 'Jipdaesung's Blind Date with Baby V.O.X' was released. In the video, Baby V.O.X members, including Kim E-Z, Lee Hee-jin, Shim Eun-jin, Kan Mi-youn, and Yoon Eun-hye, candidly discussed the rumors and their past experiences, as they prepare for their upcoming concert on the 26th and 27th. This marks their first full reunion in 18 years since their hiatus in 2006.

When Daesung asked about future activities post-concert, Yoon Eun-hye responded, "Whenever the four older members performed without me, feud rumors would follow. We concluded that we could continue Baby V.O.X even if not all five of us were present." She added, "There was a time when I tried to erase my singer image while pursuing acting. I wasn't distancing myself from the members, but I was embarrassed by my unprepared self and couldn't bear to watch my performances."

Kim E-Z explained the pressure Yoon Eun-hye faced as the youngest member, saying, "The youngest always attracted more attention, which led to feud rumors whenever she was absent." Yoon Eun-hye admitted, "I was often scolded and criticized, making singing a source of fear for me. But now, I can look back on those times with some fondness." She continued, "Seeing fans reminisce about those days made me realize I didn't need to dislike my past self."

The members also discussed the inevitable challenges faced by idols transitioning to acting. Kim E-Z noted, "Many singers who transitioned back then went through similar experiences," while Daesung added, "As time passes, memories become romanticized, and the experiences have strengthened the members."

Yoon Eun-hye shared a behind-the-scenes story from her debut, recalling, "I was in 9th grade when an agency contacted me for an audition at a karaoke. I was shy and leaned against the wall, which the CEO saw as confidence. I joined thinking it was a cute concept group, but was surprised by the sudden shift to a sexy concept."

Since their hiatus in 2006, Baby V.O.X has been plagued by rumors of feuds and bullying. However, they reunited for a performance at the KBS2 'Music Festival' last year, dispelling past rumors. The upcoming solo concert is expected to be a meaningful event, bridging their past and present.
