On the 19th, the outdoor stage greeting for the TVING original drama 'Dear X', invited to the 'On Screen' section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival, took place at the Busan Cinema Center in U-dong.
'Dear X' tells the story of Baek Ah-jin, a woman who wears a mask to escape hell and rise to the top, and the 'X's she cruelly tramples on. The event was attended by producer Kim Yoon-hee and actors Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon, and Lee Yeol-eum.
Kim Yoo-jung plays Baek Ah-jin, a star actress with antisocial personality disorder. In the drama, Baek Ah-jin is cornered as it is revealed she has 'two faces'. Kim Yoo-jung explained, "The genre is a destructive melodrama suspense. She is the character who provides the cause and leads the story. She is someone who will stop at nothing to get what she wants, living behind a mask."
Producer Kim added, "You will feel a strange pleasure in not being able to hate or love this woman, nor stop her." He continued, "You will feel an immense attraction watching the two male actors' different ways of loving."
