Hong Seok-cheon Reveals Why He Removed Kim Dae-ho from His 'Treasure Box' on 'Save Me! Holmes'

TV personality Hong Seok-cheon shared why he removed announcer Kim Dae-ho from his 'treasure box'.

On the October 18th episode of MBC's variety show 'Save Me! Holmes', Hong Seok-cheon, The Boyz's Younghoon, and Kim Dae-ho appeared together in the 'Noodle Road in Seoul' segment.

The trio kicked off the episode with an office worker concept titled 'Hong's Gems' in Yeouido. Kim Dae-ho, before filming, mentioned, "This is the first time I've worn makeup for Holmes," and ambitiously added, "If I can't be in the treasure box, I'll settle for a pocket."

However, he faced a bit of a setback in screen time. Park Na-rae pointed out, "Kim Dae-ho is speaking, but only Younghoon is shown," while Joo Woo-jae humorously noted, "Why isn't this cut moving on? I've been watching, and it just won't end." Kim Dae-ho recalled, "It's been a while since I've faced such a setback since the Ha Seok-jin incident in Yangpyeong."

Hong Seok-cheon reminisced about the 'New Employee' audition, saying, "He reminded me of a young Ji Jin-hee." He added, "He was once in my treasure box, but after appearing on 'I Live Alone' looking impoverished, he was removed," drawing laughter. When Kim Dae-ho expressed his disappointment, Hong Seok-cheon offered, "I'll buy you a suit from a department store," but when Yang Se-hyung asked for the same, Hong quipped, "You handle your own."

Yang Se-hyung and Jang Dong-min also appeared on the show. Hong Seok-cheon, looking at the two seated next to him, bluntly stated, "This line isn't even raw gems." When Joo Woo-jae asked, "Why do you like them?" Yang Se-hyung humorously replied, "No impact," eliciting laughter.

Additionally, The Boyz's Younghoon shared his decade-long experience of living in a dorm, expressing, "I want to be independent. I do want to live alone, but I still enjoy being with the members." He added, "I want to live in a house with a view of the Han River," to which Hong Seok-cheon wittily responded, "I have a room available at my place. If you open the curtains, you can see the bridge from the dramas," filling the studio with laughter.
