EXO's Kai Shares Journey from Meme Novice to Meme Creator

EXO's Kai has opened up about his journey from not knowing memes to becoming a meme creator.

On the YouTube channel 'ESQUIRE Korea', operated by the magazine ESQUIRE Korea, a video titled 'Opening Kai's Case Files' was uploaded.

In the video, Kai discussed the 'Ajas Incident', saying, "This happened during a concert in Japan when I learned a new slang word there." He continued, "I learned the word 'Asu'." Kai then added, "I wanted to show off in front of the fans, so in front of the huge audience, I said, 'I learned a new slang word' and shouted 'Asu'."

Kai continued, "But no one understood it," and added, "So I told the fans that I learned it, but the Japanese fans looked confused, saying they had never heard of it." Kai said, "When I asked the fans, they said it was actually 'Ajas', so I cursed the staff who taught me the slang."

Kai explained, "Before the SM Town concert, during my solo concert, I confidently shouted 'Ajas' as if I knew it all along, since there were other fans at the SM Town concert." He added, "I didn't know much about memes and trends, but somehow I learned and even started creating them."

Kai proudly stated about his meme, "It has become very popular, and many people are using it. I've grown to the point where I can create memes." He concluded, "Creation requires some pain, and since I haven't been making memes for long, give me a little time, and I'll bring new memes."
